This was the quote from a booster in the article from ESPN.
Boy, wonder what that mindset is like?

It doesn't matter if you want Richt gone or not this shows that clearly the two schools have a different mindset in regards to football.

One booster represents an entire program?
And are you suggesting that not a single UGA booster wants to win a championship?

Are you retarded? One school fires their coach after losing 3 games, one doesn't. It's clearly a different mindset and a different expectation.

Because one booster said that? Come on.

While I applaud his spirit, paying a 15 million plus buyout for Miles and his coaches doesn't seem like a very smart/cost effective move. To me, you shouldn't judge your coach by his last 3 games so if there were already concerns about Miles, they should have never agreed to such a huge buyout. In stark contrast, our admins have been shrewd by comparison in managing Richt's contract.

For sure, 4 straight seasons of 3 or more losses and he is shown the door even he played for 2 nattys and won 1. The roll Bama is on doesn't help.
Meanwhile Richt has lost 3 or more 9 of the last 11 years and we don't mind.
Yeah, I think it is safe to say there is a different mindset.

exactly. I would assume that more than just one booster feels that way. Maybe not so for The Dawgs. There might only be one booster that feels that way! I am not saying Richt should go or stay, my point is exactly what many of you are saying. There is a different mindset at LSU, Bama, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, and many other programs. I am not against making better men and being ethical and doing things right, but if i have to see another hype video talking about it, i will puke. nobody outside the disneys enjoy those

Miles fricked over the boosters (and fans, to an extent) by backing into that National Championship. He was never a good fit and most never liked him, but how do you fire a guy that wins like he does, AND has won it all? Les hit the lottery once, and has apparently hit it again.
Ask him for his Cash 3 numbers and play them sumbitches "straight". You'll be swimming in Budweiser and Marlboros for a month!

2 weeks ago, y'all were the same fricktards sucking Miles' cock for having such a good, well coached team... Now you "applaud" them for firing him... Yet, still, you fail to grasp the importance of beating rivals vs the shallow words of a booster justifying his faction's desire to get that freak paid off...
I swear, I wish y'all were hot red headed gals... Your panties would drop in seconds with the right words...

You assume that more than one LSU booster feels that way, and then with your next line you assume that UGA boosters do not feel that way.
Y'all are making some real substantive cases in here.

Furthermore, the admin may want him gone because he is a freak and difficult to deal with, but they need the boosters on board since they will be the ones paying his buy out. Most of them know that an average coach can come in there and win 9'games as long as he can recruit. Then get lucky on a Bama down year... The math is pretty simple... As long as people keep paying.

I don't think many or applauding them. Just noting that over roughly the same time period Richt is as safe as milk where Miles will see the door by all reports with Richt having the worst record over that time.
It speaks to the difference between the expectations for the respective programs. That's the point.

Les got fired already?

Maybe it speaks more to the difference between Richt and Miles as men.
Miles is probably a good father, husband, person etc too, but he's also a certified bumbling, stumbling buffoon. WHile Richt is the more dignified and noble and focused on the righteous path, etc.
If Richt was the coach at LSU with Miles same record, I wonder if they'd be as quick to push him out the door as they are with clown boy..
And surely, Miles would be long gone from UGA if he'd been coach here for 11 years and had Richt's record.

They're contemplating spending $15mil to get rid of Miles, I'm doubting it comes down to one not being as 'focused on the righteous path' when that kind of money is being considered.

You missed my point. Or probably you're sensitive and so you fixated on the righteous path part.
Either way, and like it or not.....Richt's character and persona is an asset for him in this business.
It has bought him time at UGA. ANd so I don't think it's a stretch to say that it would buy him time somewhere else too. But, I guess that goes against the simpleton talking point that Louisiana expects to play for championships and Georgia does not, blah blah blah
