Kids team opened up in Augusta last night. Temp/humidity was fairly miserable . Need to push these start dates back a touch.

It's so weird opening with a cupcake after Oklahoma State 2x, Clemson 2x and Boise State 2x in the last 10 years.

When I was in high school, it was 80 for our opener. Our last regular season game was played in 12 degree weather and our playoff game was a snow bowl.

We always started the Friday before Labor Day . It doesn't seem like a couple of weeks can make a difference but it does. It was 92° with 75% humidity & no breeze at kick off (7:30).
