So if people are up for it, we can do a pick'em for this week. Pick 4 players on each day, and one of those players has to be a former or current UGA player. Those four scores will add up to make your total score from the day, and we will combine the 4 day total to see who the winner is.

UGA Players include: Lee McCoy (a), Chris Kirk, Brian Harman, Brendon Todd, Bubba Watson, Russell Henley, Kevin Kisner, Erik Compton.

FIELD

You cannot pick any player more than once, unless there are less than 4 UGA players left on the weekend. If anyone has questions about the current format or would want something different, feel free to post about it.

It might be helpful if you posted the field.

I feel like cheaters who were kicked off the UGA golf team and who are universally despised by their former teammates might not belong in #TheGeorgiaPipeline list...

Dawgsontop34, They're going to try and make you hold their hand and wipe their noses too. No matter what you do for them, it won't be enough for some. My suggestions would be tough love and rule with an iron fist. Also make an example out of the first motherfricker to start whining and beat him senseless into the ground..

It's pretty easy to post the field, so I've got no problem with that. I'm a lover, not a fighter Jeff

Justin Rose

Solid pick. Rose is my pick to win the tournament.

For this first round, I'm trying to hit jackpots on the dude's that usually start off hot, then fade on the weekend.

I've had DJ winning this tournament all year long so I'm going to stay with it now. How about if you pick the winner correctly you get 10 strokes subtracted from your total score.

Might be too late. Maybe you can assign a bonus pick after each round worth a couple bonus strokes subtracted if picked correctly. Examples....

-leader after day 2?
-Will Tiger make the cut?
-etc depending on the developing news of the day

Also, I'm worried some motherfricker might get an early lead and then copy the picks of whoever is chasing him by the closest.....to maintain their lead.

I guess all we can do is assign a coward label to that strategy to try and prevent such nonsense.

I have to admit I like watching the U.S. Open because it makes me feel better about my own game to watch the pros scrambling to get par on a really tough course. I don't see an issue with it as long as everyone has the same conditions. Some of the coastal venues can be unfair when the wind kicks up for late times but otherwise I say let them have at it.

It's kind of like getting a wild hair with your buddies at the beach and playing the tips on a 7000 yard Course. Sometimes it takes a good beating to put you in your place..
