I know as a guest here I need to be careful as to how I phrase things and it isn't my intention to offend anyone on here. If it was I wouldn't want to be on here. There's enough drama for me IRL--for me message boards are meant to be recreational outlets.
Life's too short and all that.
But in all seriousness on the Committee issue I know there are other board members who want to play and I don't have any problem with someone taking my place.

Litigator, The thread by the Busy-Body Twins is considered unwanted and intrusive by many here. But, for some reason, instead of responding to the same identical thread on the Arkansas board, you decided to barge on in to this one. And even took it upon yourself to hand over OUR thread to these people...........and to even suggest that these admin fiends should transplant OUR thread to the mouth-breather goon board that many of us try very hard to pretend doesn't exist....
Is any of this registering yet? Please confirm.

It is and I know from past history that at least among some (others have said they don't mind) these intrusions are not welcome. My response was a way of saying we've got the best thing going here--I have no interest in participating in any other Committee exercise on any other board or on tRant either but that's just me. Outside of the GSB I'm not aware of anyone else taking this on although admittedly I don't often peruse other boards (other my own). Others need to see how it's done--there are some good suggestions in our thread IMO. I wasn't trying to give anything away, not that I would even have the power to try to do so.

This might be the biggest clusterfck thread I've read... think most "the rules" were edited 5 times and then after the fact...

I would suggest closing this (dry run) thread at this time and creating a new one moving the agenda forward.

Rules were never changed. Op was only updated for the results. This was just a dry run that included every idea that was put forth by the committee at the time, to see what would work and what would not. Everyone settle down.
