Good friggin lord, guys. I go out of town a few days and have to work a few nights and I come back to see this hooplah. Half of you whine about chowder pops and SECr buddies yet here we are going all High School trying to boot kids from the cool kids club because 'OMG you see what their friend's did'! This is EXACTLY why we can't have nice things.

Anyway:

1) The reason's behind wanting NYC banned are, forgive me, a tad weak. He's an AU fan and holy shite he's from NY. While both are regrettable neither should be bannable offenses.
2) That being said, NYCauburn is now off the GSB. I don't mind NYC but I prefer a peaceful GSB. He can go to the Help Board and ask to regain access. At this point you're more than welcome to come up with some conspiracy theories on how I'll let him back on but after someone gets tossed from here it's an uphill battle. That said, not enough people came to bat for him here in this food fight of a thread.
3) The only real reason I am ok with removing NYC other than yall letting it go is because of the AU board's rules. Personally I think we are better than emulating the inward-looking dorks. I am still working with the AU dudes on getting at least a UGA-AU partnership.
4) This is NOT going to be the norm. The AU poster thing is the exception. Yall aren't gonna just throw a hissy fit on this board every time someone different than you posts. If you DO have a problem with a poster who is on here then let me direct you to this awesome place called The Help Board. There you may post away about how you can't stand some outsider or even someone on here. I read that board when I am on and no one can whine that I whacked it. Otherwise just argue with the guy/gal like yall do so well now.
5) Seriously, don't clutter this board with this stuff. Or even worse that thread CNB started asking if people liked him. This board is cluttered with enough as it is. We don't need a daily DO YOU LIKE ME [ ] YES [ ] NO thread on here. I mean, come on. It's the GSB so the answer is always [x] NO. You need a pat on the back or you're a glutton for punishment? HELP BOARD. Worried that not enough Georgia posters know what the Help Board is? If the issue is important enough to them then I trust in their ability to find the sumbitch.

I'd like to say this would appease the masses but by now I think we know that ain't happening. I also apologize for being gone. Work has been busy lately and I was in a liquor coma most this weekend on the sandy beaches of Charleston, SC. I'll do better about monitoring the halls.

Those who were victorious in ridding the board of the yankee menace pat yourselves on the back. Those who fought against tyranny still have a chance to save NYC but, like I said, it won't be easy.
