We have two SEC first teamers just so we can get run out of our own gym by underdog Belmont in the first round of the NIT.

Yeah, someone tell me again why Fox is the answer.

Well, Fox managed to take a team with two All SEC players and win 19 games en route to a 9 point loss at home in the first round of the NIT

JJ deserved better

All I can do is just shake my head. We suck. Life as a UGA basketball/whatever sports fan.

That's been this entire team whenever Maten is out. Without JJ and Maten we are a VERY bad team. Sure, take away any team's two best players and it will hurt them, but the rest of the team is just not good offensively. Holding a team to 50 points doesn't mean dick if you can't Score more than 30.

Thank you for an amazing career JJ. It was an absolute pleasure to watch you play and compete. And all-time DGD and all time and forever favorite player of mine.

Frazier really does deserve much more recognition than he'll ever receive. This is like a 10 win team without him.

Well, one of them wasn't playing tonight golden. Don't know if you noticed that when you were watching.

Damn I'm gonna miss watching JJ play. I hope he gets a chance to play somewhere decent next year.

At this point we all do. Or at least a shot at better. With Fox this is the best it gets. Period. I'll bet, though, if he had THREE All SEC first teamers, we'd have at least made it to the first overtime before we got run out of our own gym (as the favorite) in the first round of the NIT.

18-15 with 2 first team all-SEC players. No way around it, under performed this year, disappointing season.

Several teams in the SEC are investing in basketball and improving. I'm afraid our program has plateaued and might be getting passed by.

Thanks man for noticing such things. Did he play at all this year? I mean since he made first team all SEC? Along with JJ. And did that help us get to the NCAA Tourney? Or at least above .500 in SEC play?

I mean, since you notice things and all.

To be fair, JJ didn't have his best year from 3-or range. Sure he'd go nuts every 2-3 sometimes 4 games then he'd go on a 4 game streak where he could only score inside the arc or at the FT line.

If 3PT shooting and defense doen't improve as a team next year it will for sure be the death of the Mark Fox era.

We didn't get run out of the gym with 2 sec first teamers. But don't let facts get in the way!

I have a feeling I could tell you he played all year with a 4 foot afro and you would have had no clue.

I know you smelled the carrion and couldnt help yourself though. Feast on, man.

But when he wasn't scoring from the arc, he found a way to manufacture points. Yante is the only other guy on the team that can claim to do the same thing and, lo and behold, he too made All SEC.
