Please provide a link to the Uber one night stand tracker reports. Is Uber also responsible for that dude I heard who woke up in a tub of ice w/ stitches in his side?

Who cares if they crunch the numbers on their trips for marketing? That's nothing new.

You made it sound like they are monitoring people's personal sex lives and keeping files on your favorite positions and stuff.

Hey. Can you believe that those evil hotels and resorts and such in Hawaii have the nerve to market their services as honeymoon destinations???

I mean I can only imagine the nefarious number crunching and invasions of privacy that it took to discover that a lot of newlyweds go to Hawaii to frick all day and night after getting married.

This shite is crazy. Orwell would freak.

Considering you're mister "conspiracy theory" on this board, you're the last person I'd expect to be ok with this kind of thing.

But I'm sure you are and would be ok with the government doing this type of thing

When you sign up for Uber, you agree to let them track your position. They ask you the question point blank.

If you don't understand the difference in letting a taxi service legally locate you with your permission and a government doing the same illegally without your permission, then there's no point in going any further.

So even after you delete the app, should they be able to track you? Because they do that.

You can rest assured that they are selling information about you. It's something most people prefer not to think about but any time you use any service on the Internet, your information is being bought and sold. Uber takes it a step farther though that they're also tracking who your with, etc. 99.9% of people will never have an issue with this but there's a certain sliminess to.

There was a story from a year or two ago that target kept so much information on a customer that they knew she was pregnant before she did.

Do you ever use google maps or type anything into an Internet search engine or use any other apps on your phone or etc or etc? All of this info is tracked, stored etc.

Youre probably using several apps everyday that do the same things Uber does or worse.

What ads are you seeing on secrant right now?

Whatever they are they aren't a coincidence. They're based on the websites you visit and your internet searches. Does that mean you're gonna stop posting here?

I tip if I have singles on me, but generally I just give them a good rating on the app. Only time I gave a big tip was when some guy had to pick me up from Oconee county and get me to class in like 20 minutes.
