It's crazy how the migrant crisis in Europe and the chaos and cultural destruction it's causing is big news all over the world. And yet, roaming hordes of yankee migrants been destroying SOuthern culture for decades, but you don't hear a peep about it. The shite here is accelerating too.

You can't drink beer on the beach in Hilton Head. SSI trumps both of them. You might as well drive the extra hour. It's worth it.

SSI is cool and all but is a totally different vibe than Tybee. The beach scene, that is. Much bigger beach at Tybee. SSI has a really nice bath house though.

Go to Social. Decent food. For a change of pace from the pier, head to North Beach and park in the lot behind Battery Garland (near lighthouse in fort Screen). You can get margaritas and other frozen drinks to take back on the beach from the North Beach Grill located adjacent the parking lot
