This time I have a coleman canopy. How do you anchor those in sand? Steal pillow cases from hotel and sandbag it down?

I use the metal stakes the stupid thing comes with. Never had an issue. My wife attaches the sheet to the legs so it doesn't blow everywhere.

You should keep a safety rope tied to it and your ankle, so that when it eventually goes tumbling down the beach around 1 or 2 o'clock, some kid doesn't get stabbed through the brain with a coleman pole.

I put my boonie cover on my son back in the day. Came with a strap so he didn't have a choice. Good call by Jefferson.

If you lift weights you can take 4 15 pounders and tie down the legs through the center hole

The deal with sandbags though is you dont have to carry, you dump the sand and throw the hotel pillowcase in the cooler and go.

My brother in law is a HH native, he lives in ATL and but for family, he would never go back to HH due to the yuppieness and yankees. You read that right... A guy who lives in ATL thinks HH has too many yups and yanks.

I call BS on yuppiness and yankees. Go there quite a bit and spend a lot of time there and aside from the occasional tourist I haven't run into that. Pussy is pussy, and the better looking ones are at HH...

Well Im married with child so Im not looking for beach pussy on this trip. Just trying to find the best way to deal with the beach tent without killing myself or anyone else.

He is a smart man. Unless you're going to golf HH is lost. The whole place is full of retired and transplanted Yankees - and far too stuffy for a beach trip. No airbrush tee shirts, skee ball....I don't even thing they have a Wings.
