Keith Marshall

I seriously doubt that. I don't think KM, MM, or JSW get anywhere near ST's, much less KR/PR.

I think best candidates are:

Tramel Terry
Reggie Davis
JJ Green
Rico Johnson
AJ Turman

On what do you base that?

Reggie Davis has proven to have good hands, mostly, but the others?

I base it on them being high value skill position players coming off serious knee injuries.

All the other guys I mentioned are known for their speed and/or shiftiness with the ball in their hands. Making them ideal for KR/PR.

Not sure what you are saying.

If Keith Marshall is healthy after rehab, he has shown he can catch the ball fearlessly, bang his way through tackles, juke a guy in the open, and has track speed.... why wouldn't you want him returning kicks?

He's saying that Marshall and Co. have already had serious injuries and Richt probably wouldn't risk pitting them on special teams. Terry and JJ Green would be my picks based on what I've seen.

I am not opposed to an improved Kick/punt returner. I say anyone that is capable and wants to step up and give it a shot should go for it. It should be interesting to see who ends up taking the job.

I would think JJ Green will get the returner gig. With Chubb and Michel coming in, he should have more time to focus on honing that skill.

I could see that. He has nice speed so now if he can just field a punt cleanly I would be all in.

Reggie Davis scared the crap out of me on every punt he fielded. He rarely called for a fair catch and got hit as soon as the ball arrived way too much. He reminds me of Trenden Holliday this year for the Broncos. He had similar issues in not calling for the fair catch, not saying they are similar players. Davis will get better as he learns when to call a fair catch, run with it, or let it go. I would like to see Wiggins get a shot at PR and JJ was good on KO returns IMO.

Yeah, but Marshall is a proven commodity to the team. Terry is not, so he's more expendable.
