Because he's a respectable human being and wants a 20 year old kid to be happy.

A free transfer policy should help recruiting. Sign with UGA and you are not relinquishing your right to change your mind. Good for Mark Richt.

He's buried down the depth charts. Too many better players ahead of him...Parrish, Briscoe, Davis...plus newer guys like Baker. And once some of the incoming group gets here (Chad Clay, Tyrique McGhee), it's over.

And it's no better at the safety positions.

He might as well transfer if he has a better chance to play elsewhere.
