She's actually a pretty nice girl. If you remember the scene at the prison where Glenn was showing one of the women how to kill zombies, he drove a piece of rebar through the eye of a female zombie...that was Claire. She said it took them 8 hours to do that scene. Also said it is almost impossible to see through the contact lenses they have to wear.

In the graphic novels the baby died. However, the show doesn't stick to the books. I think the baby is dead. They wouldn't show it getting ripped apart and as far as not being on the memoriam on talking dead that just adds to the mystery until the show starts back up.

So do you think this means they now go outside of Wash DC, like in the books? I thought I saw on a commercial that they listened to the radio and it was talking about Sanctuary.

I've only read the first four so I'm not sure what will happen after the prison. The group may stay splintered for awhile with Maggie and Glen going one way, Daryl will definitely go find Carol, and Rick may have another break down if Judith is indeed dead leading to feelings that he once again let down the group.
