Even if somehow they make it I think we have seen the past few years what better iterations of this team have done. Can't imagine these guys faring much worse. They were screwed from the get-go with Beachy and Medlen going down. Losing Gearrin and then Gavin friggin Floyd were just too much. Mike Minor pitching like a girl scout sure as shite isn't helping either.

Sure, that'd all be fine, but the offense is so god damn streaky/feast-or-famine that it's just completely unsustainable. Over the course of 162 games, yea, the Braves are in the top 15 I guess, but when it comes to the playoffs I just don't think they have a shot. Especially this year. Luckily we have football back.

Also, just a warning, soon this thread is gonna be replaced with a Falcons season thread. I figured with the Braves downward trend and with only 16 pages of replies this Braves thread experiment will be done for 2014. It'll still be around but I don't want Falcons threads clogging the board nor do I want further complaints by adding another sticky.
