These guys have complicated tax returns. Technically if you work in a state for a fraction of the year, you pay taxes in that state for that fraction and offset against your home state income tax. Also, California tries very hard to force you to pay their income tax as your primary state income tax if your employer is located in the state.
Property taxes in California are pegged to the purchase price of the home. The assessed value increases at 2% annually or the rate of inflation, whichever is lower.

Market size doesn't matter as much in the NFL. It's so insanely popular that if you're good, you'll get yourself out there. Indianapolis is a decent sized market but not huge and Peyton got all the endorsement deals he could ever want. Same with Rodgers and Green Bay.

Depends on what part of Cali. San Fran, San Diego, Palo Alto, Northern Cali? Certainly.
LA? frick that. Unimpressive city that has ungodly traffic. It's like a bigger, shittier, more taxed ATL.
Still, Tud is going to become an even bigger star as everyone said. And St Louis blows. Just hope he has a legit dude handling his finances, lot easier to be a millionaire iand stay that way Missouri.
