I'm just wondering who the fricking adult in the room is and when they're going to make themselves known. Someone take charge and make an informed fricking decision already.

Really? How does anyone know this?

I like the guy and think he's been a positive change to our defense but what makes anyone think he'd be a kickass head coach?

Isn't this why BVG left? Because Richt didn't think he meshed with the staff very well?

that there appears to be no urgency or focus to fix any problems is what is worrisome.

Seriously, it is time to shite or get off the pot. I feel like if UGA loses to UK then this all becomes real simple and the choice will be made for them but we all know that isn't going to happen. They will win out or lose a close one to AU and everyone will be sitting here just wondering how in the frick we are sitting here in limbo yet again

Richt is gone unless he wins out. The inevitable "whoopsie daisy" is coming, fellas.

I'm on team Pruitt.

IMO, there should be friction between staff members 100% of the time. If there isn't, then you aren't really competing.

Being competitive on Saturdays starts with being competitive in-house.

It makes sense. The Program could go on to win SECCG or the program could be 3-9. Either ways...it's going somewhere..up or down.

I rather take the chance than dealing with Mark.

Of course all of this may or may not be true, but to me it seem very believable. I can totally see this. Jeremy Pruitt comes from championship caliber programs that are mentally focused on winning games. Richt's easy going mentality is pretty obvious to everyone that follows Georgia football. Richt's demeanor and character are absolutely nothing like championship caliber coaches. I know I would be extremely pissed off if my head coach allowed this type of lackluster offensive performance continue without any direction. The offense can't complete a pass and Mark is like "aww shucks, we'll get'em next time. Ya'll go home and be with your families. These games aren't that important." Meanwhile Pruitt is trying to instill an Alabama type work ethic, but it does him no good if everybody isn't involved.

Really sad man, sad a pathetic.

If you read the rest of my post, I indicated that I wasn't sure if he would take a program to new heights or torpedo everything in the process. He just seems like he raises a fuss until he gets what he wants, and isn't afraid of confronting people in the process.

Richt went 6-7 in 2010 and I'm not sure his seat was even warm. Why would he be gone now?

but that's not what we have or it would translate on the field. it's a blame game at this point and the one who should be stepping up to the plate and taking full responsibility is not.

His seat was definitely warm after that. He needed to win the east in 2011 and he did.

Yep, and IMO that's where it should probably be after this season as well.

Really? His demeanor reminds me of Tom Landry, Bear Bryant, and Joe Paterno. I thought they were pretty good coaches. His demeanor might not be what you like....maybe that is what you mean. But there is no set in stone demeanor for a championship coach. There are plenty of championship coaches that are fiery...Saban, for one. But not all championship coaches have fiery demeanors.

I understand where you are coming from...but if he wins out (Like someone on here suggested) and he finishes 10-3, his seat will not be warm.
