I understand the frustrations with Richt right now, but we played in a ridiculous environment (they have to be pumping crowd noise in that place) and lost to a team that really should be 5-1 by 7 without our best player. If you take Hurd, Fournette, or Henry away from their teams, they would be considerably worse. Look at what happened to Arkansas this year. It doesn't mean that Sony isn't really good, because he is (despite his fumbling issues), but his legs aren't going to be nearly as fresh, and then we have to run Marshall more instead of alternating the best 1-2 RB core in the nation.
This doesn't excuse the way we played by any means. We missed more tackles than I've ever seen a UGA team miss before, and Leonard Floyd has to learn how to set the edge and contain or teams are just going to keep running right around him. Reggie Davis had a couple really good plays (although that punt return was very fortunate bc of the bounce it took after he muffed it), but you have to catch that ball if you want to play receiver at the D1 level. Pruitt better figure something out on the D line because we got very little pressure on that joke of an O Line, and we will struggle if that doesn't improve.
We very possibly could win out still and maybe make the SEC Championship and give us a little momentum going into next season.
More than anything I hope Chubb's ok. He is one of the finest young men in all of college football and I feel horrible for him. Hopefully he can recover fully and continue to succeed in college and take that to the next level. That field in Neyland is absolute shite though and they have to do something about it.
Mini rant over and go dawgs.

I'm disappointed in the defense. Tennessee moved at will despite questionable play calling. I chalk it up to being young but linebackers might not be as good as we projected and secondary is hit or miss.
Chubb going down could have been huge. But I don't think we lost because we didn't have him.
UT is insanely loud and I guess it's the architecture.

That 4th and 9 completely turned the game around. We left the middle of the field open all day and Tennessee exploited that. If we make a stop on that play, we win that game handily. The crowd was mute, but we somehow figured out a way to let them back in the game. Really just unbelievable.

The 4th and 9 was big, but I have been saying this since yesterday, Sony's fumble on the kickoff completely changed the momentum of that game forever in their favor. I think that was the biggest play of the game.
