great defenses don't give up big plays. Chubb went for 80 against bama and it pissed saban off.

Just a poor offensive team. Reminds me of the headache we had in 2010. Defense is actually pretty good but the offense is just powerless and its lack of production puts more strain on the defense and makes them look worse. Very disheartening....what can you do? Chubb, the workhorse is gone. You haven't got a QB and only one WR. I know a lot of people are on the Fire Richt bandwagon and I honestly can't blame them but no one could win to the degree we want with what we got.

Ganus was the only thing on the field like I remember Bulldog football to be. To be fair the defense kept UF in check most of the game, but damn...just damn..

An injured, UAB transfer was our best player on the field.

When Mark Richt pats Davis on the butt when he's fumbled a punt and dropped another easy pass, I just want to throw up. I'd love for once to see one of our coaches get in some players shite and let them know that their play is unacceptable. Won't happen until we rid ourselves of Mr. Milk Toast.

I feel like Shawn Wiliams was the last true DGD that really lit a fire under the team every time he took the field.

Just as they did with Missouri. Not exactly a huge accomplishment in either case, as neither were offensive powerhouses, but they did their jobs, at least.

hey..good to hear from you again..

I'm talking about the time folks didn't want to play us..sure we aren't always very good, but by damn nobody thought it would be easy..hell, now even Vandy thought they had a chance..

not the same Georgia Bulldogs and I'm standing by this statement.

This team and this program have gone very soft. Richt just placates the players and babies them. As much as I hate and still hate the SOB Spurrier, he knows how to light a fire under players. Winners play with an edge and they know if they do not play at a certain level, someone else will take their place. I am not saying you cut a player in half for a mistake either. Some mistakes on the other hand demand retribution.

are you remembering as 'Georgia Football'? 1980-1983?

Seiouly? It's been 40 or 50 years since we went two games without a touchdown. There hasn't been an "Occasional championship" since Van Gorder left and we aren't worth a f*** but we have a dozen players on this team that will be drafted. Have the talent(but not a qb) but the team sucks

While I can't argue with that Chubb would make a difference in games like this and you can't put injuries on Richt. My point was simply that this roster was never going to be great. We don't have a good enough offense to compensate for a mediocre to bad QB. Last year we did to some degree with Mason but not this year.

Be careful, or they will call you an alter or something else even more ridiculous because you speak the truth.

This most certainly is not UGA football. We have not been UGA football since Vince Dooley retired. Yes we win at about the same rate but we are nowhere near as physical and tough as we wewr then...and we NEVER win a game we have no business winning anymore...something that Dooley did regularly.

Florida only had 15 1st downs. Our offense was so bad that the Lizards had the ball 14 minutes more than us.

We have won two SEC championships in 32 years. We have won 1 national title that is not also claimed by someone else and only two of any sort in 100+ years. UGA football is not championship football...but at one time it was tough, physical and competitive. It is none of that anymore. We are YEARS away from winning an SEC title again...we are Years away from winning the SEC east again....UT is well on its way back, UF is back and USC is going to have new life in 3 years.....meanwhile we hold pat or regress.

Good God, I feel like throwing up.

It feels like dealing with a big company, everything is fricked up but it is no one's fault, no accountability, it just is. Live with it.

Chubb is hurt, no QB, Eason coming in, great recruiting coming,it could be worse, historically we really aren't worth a shite, we may lose Pruitt if Richt leaves...........fricking unbelievable.

We have gotten our arse HANDED to us in the games of import this year. HANDED TO US!! AGAIN!!

If any motherfricker on this board is OK with that, then you are not a fan. We can be among the elite programs in the nation, we just need the right guy. Fire the motherfricker, Eason be damned and get about the business of resurrecting the University Of Georgia football program.

Spit and other militant dawgs would say you aren't a fan if you don't support the team win or lose. I say you aren't a real fan if you continue to blindly support the shitshow that is Mark Richt football.

I say you aren't a real fan if your excuses are any of the following: "he is a good man. He is teaching life lessons. GA has never been dominant."

Bull. GA has 12 Sec titles. Life lessons are secondary to his job which is to coach a football team. Being depicted and presented as a "good man" to the rest of the football world implies he is the only "good man" coaching and is demeaning to all of the other fine individuals who coach and positively impact the lives of players without crowing about it.

I just flinched at remembering him whiff a couple of WVU players in 2005.

To be fair, a lot of people whiffed at White and Slaton from 2005-2007.
