Looking at some stats.

In 2012, Murray averaged 10.1 yards per attempt. Not per completion, per attempt.

9% of his attempts are touchdowns.

Todd Gurley averaged 6.4 yards per carry on 1st and ten.

7.7% of Gurley's carries resulted in a touchdown.

It's one of my oldest friends, I've known this guy for almost 2 decades. I have no clue what he was thinking. He has turned way too Christian lately...

Thankfully, anywhere I go can no longer be considered dry.

BR is dumb, but here are the stats from their simulation. UGA 41 Clem 21

quote:

Week 1’s biggest matchup is over by the intermission, as Georgia outscores Clemson, 27-7, in the first quarter to end the drama early.

Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd throws for 264 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while wide receiver Sammy Watkins hauls in one of those TDs in the loss.

On the other side, the Georgia offense totals 571 yards, led by quarterback Aaron Murray. Murray finishes with 357 yards and five (yes, five) scores. Three of these scores go to wideout Malcolm Mitchell. Running backs Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall combine for 198 yards on the ground.

This game will be a lot like the SC/UGA 2012 game. Both teams will score, and it will come down to which team capitalizes on the others mistakes.

The key for UGA to do this is keep the game close in the first half. Clemson wins games by making big plays in the first half to build a large lead and then coast. SC prevented this from happening last year and took CU out of its comfort zone. This forced them to run mostly pass plays.

In this situation all you have to do is take away Tajh's primary target and prevent him from scrambling for a first down. Do this and he start make mistakes and will result in turnovers.

Good luck. I'll be rooting for y'all

No Hopkins, no Ellington. Nobody seems to be talking about how huge that could be for Clemson this year. Get physical with Watkins and Boyd has to look elsewhere.
