If we're gonna change we need to change to someone who knows the college game and runs a spread style offense. No more of this pro style bullshite. I don't care if they are ready for the NFL or not do what gives us the best chance to win at UGA.

If we hire Bobo the author of taking CSU from 10 2 in 2014 to 3 5 and counting. Is that completely fair? Maybe not, but it is an indicator.

Clean and swab the deck. Make a decision and take action.

I would take Fuente in a heartbeat. Is there risk there, you bet, but what he has done with a program that has been not worth a breathe for its entire history is amazing.

What is refreshing to me is he conversation has turned from if to how soon and who for richie.

I wouldn't necessarily rule out looking at promising NFL assistants.

How about Kyle Shanahan? He's already in Georgia...that's something. He's young, known as a fairly creative play designer, and would have the energy to rebuild a program.

If we want someone who could really develop Eason or any quarterback, Dirk Koetter at Tampa Bay....

Just to be clear, I'm not saying the few coaches I marked as - NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, I wouldn't love to have. I just don't believe those coaches will leave their current situation. Not just for UGA , but for anyone. I'd like to have Saban or Meyer too, but they ain't leaving either. Focus on non-p5 head coaches and top assistant at P-5 schools. That's where the hire will come from. Not expecting us to lure one of the Top 10 head coaches away from anywhere.

Would make me very happy. Sucks that he probably won't be on the market after this season and I don't see us pulling the trigger by then.

Deep down, as painful as it may be, you know it's the truth short of a collapse that includes losing to GSU (not off the table with our offense honestly).

Would love to be pleasantly surprised though.

As I said earlier David Shaw fits the Georgia way, if we could get him. All of these guys that are hot right now, Memphis and Houston, could be good, but risky.

You could also try and get Smart who might just keep Jeremy Pruitt.

I'm not convinced Richt survives another 8-5 campaign. Under Adams yes, under the new guy, not so sure.

If the team doesn't get their collective shite together, 8-5 is a very real possibility.

Let me clarify, I see more of a 7-6 to 6-7 season at this point. We aren't beating Kentucky, Auburn, or Tech with this team.

We got one more win in us this year with some luck if a QB don't show some remarkable improvement

GA tech is worse than us, if we lose to them THIS YEAR, then CMR should not be granted the priveledge of coaching the Dawgs in the Birmingham Bowl

We SHOULD beat Kentucky as well.

At this point, I don't see how we can possibly beat Auburn

anywhere from 7-5 all the way up to 8-4 look likely

Add in a bowl win against somebody crappy

Next year?

UNC - how did they lose to SCe this year?

toss up at best, but we usually lose big opening games

we could EASILY be looking at starting 2016 with a 3-4 record after 7 games

lose to: UNC; Ole Miss & TN - split against Mizzou & SC

I am not seeing a silver lining in the clouds right now

Really? As bad as Ky is historically and the Barn is this year, would you bet the house on either game? GA hasn't score a TD in over 8 quarters. shite, even tech beat a good team this year.

And the question that begets this entire argument is when did Georgia last beat a team it wasn't supposed to?

I got Florida in 2012 when JMFJ singlehandedly clobbered the Gators.

By that count, CMR hasn't won anything of note for 3 years. I don't know how someone defends that record.

I think we agree here. UK, Auburn, and Tech are all playing much better than us right now.

I know some of you hate the idea but Smart as HC only if we can keep the defensive staff...combine those guys and we have the junk yard dawgs back! Then go get Friend back (somehow or get his mentor who also coach our Oline in the early 2000s) as our line coach and pull in the Western Kentucky OC. In other words can CMR, CSchotty, and the current Oline coach.

Btw with a Truely stout and stifling Defense we won't need an all world QB like Eason ( although I'd love to have him but we all know if CMR is gone then so is he) we would need a QB that can run the OCs playbook.
