I'm worried that Kirby Smart might choose Muschamp as DC at Georgia. Muschamp is probably a good DC but SEC officials, being childish and petty, tend to hold grudges for years.

I would rather have sly coaches who know how to cultivate officials. Hopefully, USCe hires Boom.

Boom for Pruitt is a downgrade any way you slice it.

Muschamp is a proven hot-head/a-hole. Our admins were quick to give Grantham the boot for the same reason and I doubt if they would even consider Muschamp.

Not on the unintentional comedy scale. Serious upgrade.

Granted, that's not usually a factor you want to consider in making a hire....

This. Did you see that little bitch on the sidelines at the iron bowl last weekend? I don't want him wearing the G. That was embarrassing for AU.

I'd obviously prefer Pruitt but I'd be fine with Muschamp. The guy can coach defense and recruit. I really don't care that he yells at officials. Every coach does that. He just gets caught on camera more than most.

Plus, the Auburn reaction would be completely worth it if we stole their DC they're so fired up about.

Id rather have the guy that shows up at his coaches house to raise hell than the one who makes an arse of himself on TV at least a couple of times a year.

Also...that defense hasn't stopped anybody this year. I realize it's year one for him at Auburn but still.....

I hope the Gamecocks go ahead and sign him up so the Dawgs don't have to worry about him.

Kirby hired per ajc. Most think Pruitt goes to Bama and we are stuck with Coach Boom. Lose, Lose, Lose.

Muschamp will never win in the SEC. SEC officials will crucify any team that uses a DC crazy enough to call a ref a motherfricking cocksucker.

It would be funny if Bobo ends up at Missouri and continues to crucify Boom's defenses.

Where in the frick do you people come from

Yall give my eyeballs chlamydia with some of this shite

So..your contention is that because muschamp has a temper that the officiating crews are going to ensure that he never wins a meaningful game?

Because my contention is that prior to the Revolutionary War, the economic modalities, especially in the southern colonies, could most aptly be characterized as agrarian and pre-capitalist

For christ's sake everyone in football considers Boom to be a top 5 DC. It's like saying Kiffin can't coach an offense just because he sucked as a head coach.

Muschamp has been a loser everywhere he's coached but his numbers are good. I don't care about numbers other than wins. Texas sank. Florida sank. Auburn sank. Officials are biased against maniacs.

I biased against paying maniacs that piss on their alma mater in public like Muschamp did when he first took the Florida gig.

Florida sank because Muschamp didn't have a QB. Their defense was outstanding his entire time there. Texas had very good defense his entire time there in a conference that views defense as optional.

Auburn, well they just flat out suck.
