But UNC is also a prestigious academic university (ironic as it is) and is a current and historically significant power in NCAA basketball. Ole miss is disposable relatively and this violates the NCAAs biggest bugaboo (paying players/recruits). The academic stuff is the ruse. Violating the sanctity of NCAA amateurism however stupid it is is not
