You know I ain't so sure that is an example of integrity and honesty....so the man appreciates his father...what man his age DOESN'T...unless their dad was a trogolodyte of the worst order? Seriously....what is Richt, over 50, right? Of course he appreciates his dad....we all do, especially once we become fathers ourselves...unless of course our dad is an a-hole. So, it being a given that most men Richt's age who are fathers themselves appreciate their Dad...isn't expressing that appreciation in such a public forum as a representative of your employer suspect? I think he does this sort of shite to lure folks in...I always though the same thing with Bobby Bowden's shot and we all know whose knee he grew up at. I will admit I am a cynical old bastard but I have never met a genuinely religious person....everyone I ever met who openly expressed their religious views eventually revealed that they were doing so for personal gain....some of them didn't even realize this themselves...they had told themselves the lie so long that they actually believed it....and I have little doubt that Richt uses this as a crutch against his inability to be the best at his trade....Richt is a study in lowered expectations...everything in his life has been almost great but not quite...and he is not in the least bit bitter about any of it which means he has accepted that he is just not good enough. That is fine but it is not what a winner does....a winner gets pissed and works harder....a loser accepts their lot in life and plods along. Lots of loveable losers in the world, very few great winners...but the number of the former who make the money Richt does at it is probably lower than the number included in the latter....
