Certainly not a bad way to do it! And you can use ANY phone on GoPhone, not just the ones they sell for it. I had an S4 on it and an iPhone 5 when they were the current flagship devices. It supports all smart phones and LTE service.

Yeah I was gonna toss the SIM in my Note. They both work on T-Mobile. Well, when there's signal.

You should be fine. I should clarify, it has to be a GSM device, not CDMA, but otherwise....

Thanks guys. I think I will be sticking with Verizon as I travel a fair bit and coverage is extremely important and I hate At&T due to past experiences in areas other than a phone. I don't trust them.
