Likely has to do with proper clearance. They have to clear out the entire west endzone just to shoot them off at graduation

When we played @Clemson in 2013, many of the bands' instruments were damaged by falling ash. We billed their AD heavily for this. It also made playing (ie: breathing) much more difficult. It's also tacky as shite. No thanks.

Exsqueeze me.... Tacky?

A polkadot bow tie is tacky, Celebrating a TD with a firework BOOM... is fun and exciting

The person that says this is tacky is most likely a "down in front please" type person.

Money.

Fireworks are expensive. Given that we score so much more than UT, we would spend a fortune. For UT, it's not that big a deal.
