It's old news but is just now coming out through records releases. Jay Paterno sent letters to Richt, Urban, and Holgorsen back in December when we had job openings. No big deal, obviously, as he wasn't hired at any. Not sure why ESPN chose to pass on a non-story.

1) Dude shouldn't be written off because of everything that happened. Him defending his father, while obnoxious in how the entire family went about it, really can't be argued. Few people wouldn't defend their father. I am not about to argue this with y'all because...
