For those of you that didn’t see it, Brooks goes off on fans talking shite about Chambliss.
You could substitute the names and make the same argument about all if the roster decisions for years…

He isn't wrong.
I typically don't like a media member "punching down".
I don't agree that he should have called out individuals on youtube from his mentions.
It definitely put people on notice.
But it is low class for someone with a mic to punch down at a form of media below him.

I would normally agree but if you’re shite talking a kid in a public forum who lays it out there for your university then I don’t have a problem with it.

I expected more out of Chaz this year. He was my preseason pick for breakout player of the year. Didn’t happen for some reason. He’s got one more chance though.

Nothing. The higher rated, younger guys didn’t surpass him and he’s getting shite for it. Chaz is a DGD!

I have an issue with a media member lowering himself to the level of shitheads.
Brooks is new at the media craft. He doesn't know what he doesn't know.
But you punch up when you have a mic.
If you give nobodies and nothings specific attention, what does that make you?
Brooks is a brand.
The people who are "up" (if they are looking at him for a potential spot/promotion) will absolutely judge him for this.

I made the same argument for Tyler Simmons (low 3 star) who got shite on by over half of the fanbase for years.
In a recruiting thread, I called him a "hit" by virtue of him getting starting snaps. My take wasn't received very well.

If someone says “we should have an elite 1st round draft pick in that spot every season “, I would not think that was realistic, but not worth criticizing. When the dum dums, who put a lot of emotional energy into being a fan of the team and the sport don’t take the time to learn the game, while at the same time, make vile personal attacks on the kids, I think they should be shite on with extreme prejudice.

Kid was playing on fire at the end of last season but he didn’t build on it like I thought he would this year. I happen to think he has the ability to be an impact player but you’re kidding yourself if you think he was one this year.
