What is the fishing report over there

The trout bite is slowly picking up on the beach. We're also catching spanish, jacks, lady fish, blues and even the occasional pompano in the surf. Had a kid hook into a 20-25lb red on the trout rod the other day but lost it at the boat.

Fishing along the beaches of Little Cumberland and Big Cumberland this time of year is a blast. Weather and seas permitting, I try to take my clients there everyday.

That's almost down near the nuclear submarine base, right? You ever seen any bizarre activity down there? I would imagine that you're being surveilled and monitored in one form or another when in that area..

Knowing Edawg, he's been monitored by the government for decades.

Yep, on a clear day you can actually see the sub "hangers from the Jekyll bridge. The base is right off the ICW and Ive seen subs come in a few times when we've taken the boat down to Fernandina for the day.

Is it true that there are islands over there occupied only by monkeys? Someone told me once about how on a kayak trip they got caught by some bad weather and had to camp illegally on some island....but got chased off by giant monkeys in the middle of the night. Supposedly they're raised there in the wild before being sent off for medical experimentations or shot into space by NASA and that kind of thing.

There's all kinds of sinister shite that goes on in the Georgia coast, if you think about it .

Not quite.

St. Catherines Island has lemurs running around. This is the only other place on earth other than Madagascar where you'll find free roaming lemurs in the wild. IIRC.
