So what are the chances we go after Chuma and EJ Price?

They want out of USC. EJ has already left the team. Edoga has really bad attitude problems. Both are extremely talented and were big targets for us

I'd like to see how Chuma's attitude does after a year with Pittman. So if they transfer out and sit the remainder of the year, would they still have to sit next year?

They can't enroll here till January. That's when the clock starts ticking, so they will have to sit out next year or apply to the NCAA for a waiver. Unless they have extraordinary circumstances the NCAA will turn down a waiver.

Had no idea

Rumors circulating that he has been kicked off the team. Now I don't know how serious this report is, but one is saying that Price popped Helton a good one. Chris, any truth to this? Update: Price is looking to transfer out and hasn't been officially kicked off the team. Helton will comment on situation tomorrow. Idk what to make of all this. Kyle Bonagura? @BonaguraESPN USC OL EJ Price has not been kicked off the team, per USC spokesman. Was not at practice today, Helton will provide an update on status Tues

While both are talented, there are a couple things to consider. Character concerns with both, especially Price. Also, neither could play until 2018, and we don't have a ton of time or room to have upperclassmen holding dead scholarship weight until then.

He can use them as examples of what not to do for future recruits

They went way out of their way to make it a point to avoid UGA at all costs. I guess maybe the idea of UGA's strict policies deterred them and out in Cali they could cut up and play for a big school. I dunno if I'd want to take that kind of attitude risk, although they are good players.

Don't want Price

EJ was a total shithead pretending to be a UGA lean his entire recruitment when we all know he was full of shite. Edoga I would give a look.

He's a head case too. Probably worse than EJ.

They both sound like problem children we can probably do without.

Congrats to Auburn, I guess.

This. The old adage from the NFL rings true here as well "the best ability is availability". I trust Pittman's ability to get a freshman ready by 2018 just as easily as turning around 2 knuckleheads. The difference being that if they come along faster, we get the freshmen sooner and likely for longer. OL continuity is a much bigger deal than OLB/DE so would prefer we stick with homegrown there with JUCO/Grad additions as needed.

Having to sit a year and behave may be what it takes to change their attitude. We should have space for them, we lost two players so far this year.

Helton just said rumors of him being punched are false, but that price is transferring. Since he hasn't played a snap this year, he would be eligible to play ball next season??

I know we we all said he'd transfer within a year of being there but I didn't think it'd be after only a few games.
