Yeah...Izzo is just an amazing coach who gets the most out of his players in March. They are just so dang tough to beat in the tourney no matter what kind of a year they have had.

Sparty and Louisville, both, always seem to make a run. Great coaches get the most out of their teams in march. It's been fun watching games the last two days.

Yep, pure UGA. Finally get to the dance and get matched up with a 7 seed that's actually a 1. Wouldn't you just know it.

Michigan State's season warranted a 7 seed but anyone who was paying attention to the Big Ten tournament could see that Izzo was getting those guys rolling at the right time. They got their shite together and steamrolled their way to the final and took Wisconsin to overtime. The fact that they're in the Final Four should surprise no one.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them in the title game.

Hmmmm, Izzo, Pitino.....sounds like coaching matters. Imagine that. In basketball of all things.

Let's go get one.

A real one.

But no. We won't.

If we would have beaten the teams we were supposed to beat in the regular season (SC and AU), we have have been closer to an 8 seed an avoided an "underseeded" #7 Sparty all together

Mich St was favored against the two higher seeds they beat this weekend. Pssst, they covered both. Under-seeded

Yeah because it's so easy to get an all time great coach like Izzo or Pitino.

Again, they were hot in the Big Ten tournament but had a really underwhelming season by their standards. They were floundering in the middle of February and hadn't been ranked for a long, long time coming into the tournament. Their body of work was that of a 7 seed. Obviously they're a better team than their seed number but that's what they deserved.
