And that my friend is why Richt is gone. When the likes of Clemson and M. State and Tech have better O lines than UGA something has to be done.

Just checking in.

I'd be very surprised if Eason went anywhere else but here.

From a Jeff Sentell article today after he spoke with Eason's QB coach...
quote:

Eason’s loyalty has been praised by those who know him well. The UGA relationships he has developed will be a big factor.

Eason's QB coach

His HS coach, or the mercenary MFer who changes his story depending on who's asking?

Durant - his "personal QB trainer"

Not sure if that's the one you're referring to?

That's the one. If some Gator rag is calling, Jake is leaning to Gainesville. If it's Georgia-based, then he's holding firm to his commitment. This dude sways in the breeze something fierce.

Um ... as long as it's a treat I think we'll be okay.

Will Gardner is looking to transfer from Louisville. He is from Douglas Georgia and went to Coffee HS

Lambert is from Jesup and played high school football there. Just growing up and playing football in our home state does not make for an outstanding quarterback.

What is your point?

The point is that Will Gardner is not a shite QB that lost his job at Virginia to another shite QB. Gardner has not been playing because he tore his acl. He was playing very well before that happened. The question was about transfer qbs. Being that he is from Georgia and everyone has witnessed that debacle last year, if Georgia offered I'm sure he would jump at the chance.

so I'm not sure having Cam Newton back there would have made any difference.

He would've be one of the greatest tight ends ever to go underutilized in the history of the SEC at UGA....

I'd be okay with Gardner coming in for depth. Maybe Lambert is a helluva FG kicker and we just don't know it yet.
