The pundits aren't hyping UGA because like so many of us they are afraid that the annual destruction of the bed linens are just around the corner. There is nothing in our past 35 year history to suggest that last Saturday's game will mean much on a national stage because we will no doubt fail to show up in a couple of games. No one likes to be proven wrong and Georgia football has done so to so many pundits over the years who predicted greatness from the Dawgs that they are reluctant to get on board again.

I like where we are. Our being ignored for the most part may keep the team focused on the business at hand. The worst thing that could happen to us is we somehow get the message that beating a very bad USC team means anything other than USC is very bad. The Vandy game is more indicative of where we are, in my opinion.

That being said the schedule doesn't look as daunting as it once did just 4 weeks ago. Getting Alabama this year may be the best of a bad situation as they have looked very beatable and Auburn is burning to the ground. At this point in the season I would rather face Alabama than Ole Miss....

All valid points, and I completely agree. I really think I'm more shocked at how much attention LSU is getting for beating Auburn.

The way we destroyed South Carolina last week is what we were supposed to do. Perhaps we are the only people who know our struggles with the Ole Ball Sack.

I think I see a different attitude this year from the old staff and the new staff. I don't think there is going to be that head scratcher game this year, I really don't. We may may still lose a game or two, but I don't think its going to be because we didn't show up.

Been a long...long time since I've been this Disney, it's makin' me all itchy 'n shite...

I'm prolly wrong but Imma not gettin' the ole same (herp-derp a game) shite different year feel this year...

I'm honestly gonna be surprised if we lose to anyone other than Bama this year & I can't remember the last time I felt this good about a UGA team...

Prolly come crashing back down to earth by the end of Oct. but if we can avoid injuries we might have a shot...

No shite...LSU beats a really BAD AUburn team and suddenly they are national title contenders (I ain't suggesting they aren't but they seem to be a shoe in now!). I think it is all about so many of them being all over AUburn's nut sack before the season started....Auburn was going to win it all prior to nearly losing to JAX State.....and now that LSU has whipped the favorite they have to be the favorite.....

I want to believe this, I really do. I am like an abused spouse though, the bastards have said many, many times that they have changed and then WHAM....I am lying on the floor with my nose bleeding.....I will believe it in January....or at least after the Florida/UT/Missouri games....
