Charleston food blows Savannah's out of the water. I've found the bar scene there is a little higher brow, and like I said, the golf is way better in Charleston
Where did you go in both cities?

The bar scene is neck and neck, no doubt.

Alright and how about saying savannah is frat? I don't think we even have a Greek system that's retarded. The bias here is nauseating

I'm not going to take the time to name every restaurant I've been to in both places, that would take forever. I can give you my top 3 in both. Savannah: Vic's, Soho, Mrs. Wilkes. Charleston: Hank's, Coast Bar, Hyman's.

I don't believe I ever said the bar scene was frat.....

And if those are your favorites you haven't eaten any seafood? I have some better suggestions next time you come.

Hyman's is wildly overrated.

Please do. I'll be in Savannah again either later this month or in August. I'm always on the prowl for some good seafood, just haven't really found any there yet.

I find it to be scrumptious. And while I love Savannah there are few cities in the nation, let alone the south, that can top Charleston in terms of food.

Agreed. The only place I've been where the food is better is New Orleans.

Don't get me wrong. It's good food but it's not some end all be all that some people make it out to be.

For god sakes don't go here. This is awful over priced tourist trap food. Chive on Broughton has become my favorite seafood as of late.

Lived on Tybee for a 1/4 of my life and this is the first i've heard of the shack being an overpriced tourist trap?

I used to stop at Hodads every day for two dozen raw and a couple cold beers.

I think AJ's is better than CS. I just had a bunch of friends that used to work there and had a couple of bland meals.

st Patricks day... Throngs of frat boys and tattoo laden whiskey tangos crowd the smelly river front to drink beer outside with equally obnoxious assholes.
Drinking in the streets is where it's at....
