omg rofl.
The place that arrests you when you walk out of the bar with your drinks and has shittier music is better? What a laugh riot. Straight talking out of your arse now.

Armstrong?
Ok, you got me...
Armstrong and Scad are better as a grouping than MUSC and CoC.... Not mentioning the Citadel and Chas Southern...

Who? I'm a musician here actually and I have no idea who that is. Outkast would probably be our most famous. And don't go to river street for music you fricking yankee we have music venues all over the place. If you go to Wild wings expecting some dude not to play Jimmy Buffett then you're the dumbass.

Oh wait, I get it now. " good bars" are ones that let you leave with your fricking coors light in your hand...
I see...ya, you win then...

Nathan Sheppard went to UGA and is from Savannah... He was in the music scene in Athens for many, many years...
Outkast is from Atlanta, but if you want to claim them as the symbol of your music scene.... I'm all in...

Where I drink, we don't concern ourselves with "taking it outside"...

who's outlast?
So is Passafire, Big Boi, Culberson, Baroness, Johnny Mercer, Camoflauge. I'm sure you can name a few from your beloved charleston?

Because you get arrested for it...

Hinesvillethrill, where is affordable place on beach close enough to take daytrip to okefenokee? St Simons hamton, 2 miles from beach, 179 plus tax per night. This is why people go to panhadle i suppose.
What kind of price range are you looking for?
Posted on 4/1/14 at 2:42 pm to HinesvilleThrill
$120 per night average, two weeknights and a weekend.

You're not going to get anything ON the beach for that price. The Holiday Inn Express is about $114 a night for July. When are you looking to go?

Technically, no one in a Charleston would arrest me for it, but some people like cities where frat boys and tattooed bad boys roam the streets with their favorite plastic cup and beer ...high fiving as they go.
And some like to drink in nice places and can afford to wait til they walk to the next place, if necessary, to procure a grown up drink served by a bartender and made in a glass... But ya... Savannah is nicer cause you can drink in the streets...

Not sure when the last time you've been to either
I was in Charleston this past August and I'm in Savannah at least twice a year. Charleston food blows Savannah's out of the water. I've found the bar scene there is a little higher brow, and like I said, the golf is way better in Charleston. I have no issues with Savannah, love the place, just love Charleston more. I have no need to walk down the street with a beer unless it's March 17.

You can stay at exit 29 on 95 for about $70. 20 mins to beach and about 40 mins to Okefenoke.

Yeah cause when I think frat boys, I think savannah... Not charleston

I just checked out the bracket. First of all, Morgantown, WV is a 40 minute drive from Pittsburgh, not sure I'd call it a "Southern Town." Also, Roanoke, VA beat Wilmington, NC. Bracket invalid.

That's fine. I don't play golf. And if you've eaten at places like alligator soul, Vic's, chive, ele, 1790, green truck, mrs Wilkes, zunzis, etc. and still think charleston has better food then okay that's fine too, but for Peter buck to sit there and try and say the bar scene is better is absolutely insane.
