Don't know where you park but it looks like rain has caused the IM fields and other overflow parking to be closed....

frick, I don't normally park down that way but there is no doubt that all the people who park that way will overflow everywhere else now.

Is the rain supposed to be THAT bad? I'm seeing 30-60% chance which usually means chance of moderate-light rain..

It's not about what's going to fall but about what's already fallen.
I dunno what it's been like down there, but it's been raining off and on all week up here in Clemson country. And there's a Mexican hurricane out there that could bring us 7 inches of more rain through Sunday. That won't all reach Athens, but I bet some of it does.

It's been raining and drizzling in Athens for a solid week straight now. Today was the first sign of sun in a while

And raining like a motherfricker right now.
It if stopped raining in five minutes, and didn't rain a drop for the next 2 days, those fields would still be mud bogs on Saturday.

shite. Saturday we are going to actually tailgate for once. I was planning to go to ECV like I did back before college. You think I have a shot at a spot?

I don't think this will impact anybody showing up early. I have a feeling it'll be hell if you get there past noon which is probably about when ECV fills up and people spill over to the IM fields. If you're tailgating you'll be there way before that happens anyways.

We practiced outside most of the week so far in the rain....Bama practiced in their IPF....when the field is soaked and it rains Saturday, who has the advantage?

I have always tried to be there by 9 AM max. Old man wanted to leave at 8 but I have deemed 7 the departure time

Yeah. My plans we still fricking up in the air. I think I'm staying in athens Friday and Atlanta Saturday but I'm still up in the air. But if I'm not in Athens Friday bight, I sure as well will be by 8 am or so.
