If/when we can't keep him, that's about the best possible spot I'd want him.

Far, far away from us and gets to play against meyer every year.

Plus, wth is seccountry? I've seen people link scoops from them like every 10 minutes this week and have never heard of them prior to now.

Can someone explain to me why a guy born and raised in Alabama, who has only ever left that god-forsaken state to coach in Tallahassee and Athens, would want to move as far North as Ann Arbor, Michigan to work for a coach and staff whom, as far as I know, he has no other connection to?

This reeks of posturing and power moves to me. Bama and Carolina I could totally see him bailing for. But Michigan? Don't think he actually drags his wife and newborn into unfamiliar territory.

I thought that's why he left Tally, to be closer to his family in Alabama.

It's a satellite site of the AJC. The league equivalent of DawgNation. DN started out as a walled-off section away from the fish wrapper stench, but Bradley and Schultz's nefarious influence crept in, anyway.

DN started off pretty good when it was basically Emerson, Sentry and one other person. But they've expanded it into a sinking shite hole. The female writer is the worst.

Why not. Ann Arbor is a great college town. If snow doesn't bother you, there's no reason not to.

That wasn't the point. What I meant was Pruitt has never lived or coached outside of that Bama-Redneck Riviera-Georgia corridor. As a player, a high school coach, a college coach, it has all been in the South. Neither has his wife, as far as I know. His oldest son and family are all down here. He has no apparent connection to Harbaugh or that staff.

After 41 years and with a newborn in tow, why would you drop everything and suddenly move to Michigan? Especially when you have plenty of opportunity at places like UGA, Carolina, and Bama? Doesn't make sense.

Anyone think Pruitt will follow Richt to da "U" as DC? Lotta rumors about the falling out but it seems more like it was CJP vs McEars/big boosters than it was CJP vs CMR(except for the showing up at CMR's house rumor)...

If Richt can take CJP(as DC), Lily(as OC), Hocke(S&C)(if the Cochran rumors are true) & fill in the blanks with his assistants that's a very good core to start an ACC staff with...

Thought it was already confirmed that Pruitt isn't going to Miami (either he's not interested or Richt said no)?

Hadn't heard that, just a thought. from the rumors about how big of a cockhound he is, just thought Miami would be a great fit...

Because maybe he's ready for a change. If I had a chance, I'd love all around the country in cool towns. Being stuck in one region sucks.
