Al Golden left the cupboard stocked for Richt. Just wait til Richt has to play with his own recruits.
Mark Richt left the cupboard empty for Kirby. Just wait til Kirby gets to play with his own recruits.

2015 Miami
8-4 with losses to Cincy, FSU, Clemson, and UNC.
2016 Miami
8-4 with losses to FSU, Va Tech, UNC, and an awful ND team.
How exactly did they improve?

shite, tcu was in the wac less that ten years ago.
Why does this matter at all? We're not playing TCU 10 years ago.

Nothing to gain by playing Miami. If we lose it would be a literal shite storm

They didn't play Clemson this year.

My point was Miami is a better program, with a much larger following and I would rather play them than TCU

At this point, a win over anyone is more important than the sexiness of the opponent

In that case, let's just not play a bowl game since we could lose

Is there any way we can play Savannah State?
(FWIW, their website is sponsored by a bail bond company)

Let's ask a different question...
Of all the possible teams, why Miami? When have we ever pined to play Miami over everyone else?
We haven't. This has nothing to do with it being a challenge....or we'll take anybody...or any of that bullshite. We wouldn't even be thinking of Miami if Richt wasn't there. So it's really about whether Richt can beat his replacement right? What other reason is there to GAS about not playing Miami? Is continuing to rehash the decision to cut CMR loose good for either team?
This would be a pure soap opera drama move. If I'm UGA I wouldn't have any interest in this either.

Miami was an option. I would rather play them than TCU. It was cool playing a team with tradition like Penn state last year. It's hard to get up for an 7-5 or 8-4 opponent when they don't have a championship winning history. I'm still pumped for the game and exposure in Texas, but I would have preferred Miami.

Sorry but we need the practices to go with a win.

Have you ever watched a Miami home game? They'll take about 12 fans to whatever bowl they go to

Miami WEst Va is a great matchup. I'll watch that one.
