Now if he wins big and Bama comes calling all bets are off.
All I would say to this is remember the situation of Vince Dooley and Pat Dye. They both defected from their alma maters permanently. Not saying CJP wouldn't go to Bama, but it's not a sure thing if they come calling. CMR has had his chances at both Miami and FSU. Each guy is going to be different.

See, I can't see him leaving for another DC gig but if another team comes calling as a HC then yea he is gone. I don't think he will stay with Georgia out of any sense of loyalty. I think UGA will just match other offers and he has a good thing going until he becomes a HC.
Personally, for all those who wanted Bobo slated as the next HC I'd like to start the movement of hoping Pruitt takes over for Richt. Frank Underwood style if need be.

Yes. Right now I would love to Pruitt to take over in a few years.

Both had their chances to go "home."
Dooley was all but set to go back to Auburn after 1980. Word was that Dye would be his replacement at UGA, but Dooley changed his mind, and the rest was history.

I would love for CMB to get his feet wet as a HC out in Colorado and then come home when CMR leaves...CJP is not going to be a HC at UGA imho...plus...DC's don't always make great HC's imo

Garner's butt should've been gone long ago, but I agree with your post.
