The day started with a trip to Sandy Creek to fish the bluegill beds that should have been populated by the Full Moon, but it was a ghost town in the cove.
Stopped by the new Kroger on the way home to Winterville, just getting infant gas drops and paper towels, and accidentally picked up these beef ribs. I didn't even know cows had ribs. I decided to just cook them like pork ribs.
Just seasoning, apple wood chips, and hickory chunks. You get the nearly instant Apple Blast with the longer-linger of the bigger hickory chunks.
In the old Bird shite Walmart Smoker.
And my old pal Kingsford.
And my little helper.
About halfway through.

I agree Spank. Was kinda expecting a run up to test the ramp like Kneivel used to do but no...he was committed.
