Posted on the DawgRant years ago, but have avoided this place until now.

Did anyone else catch this Ray Drew quote after the game:
"As with any game, I think the emotion was taking over (the first two drives). But emotion only lasts for so long. It comes down at the end to which team is better prepared, which team is better coached, which team is more disciplined and is gonna do which it is supposed to. Which today was Missouri."

Throwing a coach under the is not typical for Georgia players. There are some serious issues with Grantham IMO.

He's right and not throwing anyone under the bus. You're trying too hard.

Seems like he was giving a rational explanation as to why his team didn't perform as expected. I think it was a mature way to look at the situation. Obviously he has pride in what he does.

Exactly, and this tool wants to put words in his mouth. It was professional and accurate and apparently now he's dogging his coach.

I agree with him also and I don't care for Grantham. Probably reading too much into it, but still seems like a slight towards Grantham.

If it's a slight towards Grantham then it's a slight towards all the coaches.

I'll give you that he said the the team that was better coached won. That's obviously a statement in regards to how our team is/was coached. But, it certainly didn't appear to be a "dig" as much as a hard truth. I'm sure he respects CTG as a coach and wants the team to succeed.

Not sure what I said that makes me a "tool". And it's a direct quote, so not putting words onto anyone's mouth. Just my personal opinion.

You accused Drew of throwing him under the bus. To gather that from the quotes suggests he said something worse than what he actually said.

I like this Drew kid. He has paid his dues and is playing well. Not everyone will be a freshman all American. Drew, like Richard Samuel, seems all dawg, all the time. Good for him.

I didn't see the comment as particularly disparaging, more matter of fact than anything.

He's not throwing CTG under the bus, CTG steps out of the bus, lays on his big gut, and rolls under it all by himself.
