Not every experience for a QB is positive. That said, I don't think #10 is the sort of kid to get blown out of the water mentally. Not easily, at any rate.

If he is ready, then he is ready... That is not soemthing we can argue. We can certainly argue that there is a downside In starting a phenom before he is ready and fricking his head up.

Based on what we've seen from him you're exactly right.

All that said, the real story here is just how bare CMR left the cupboard at QB. WHILE HE STILL HAD A JOB IN ATHENS. He told SXM last week that he remembers looking at Deshaun Watson and told Bobo that e would be special.

And he still didn't offer him till it was too late. There's your real story.

He left the starter from a 10 win team and a phenom freshman? How many teams have that?

Supporting your argument with insults and hypotheticals doesn't give it any more merit... Carry on.

When Jameis Winston started, he had only been on FSU campus 6 months longer than Eason has been at UGA... and Winston's first year was pretty damn good.

If Eason had redshirted his freshman year like Jameis did, this thread probably wouldn't even exist.

Eason enrolled early. Jameis didn't.

Although Jameis redshirted, it only amounted to 6 months extra time on campus beyond what Eason has.

Just saying.

Which is double. One year would actually be one eighteenth of Eason's entire life.

Also, I think the half of the year where there was an actual football season to learn from is more key than the half of the year mostly involving orange cones.

That extra 6 months was an entire football season though which is a big benefit to a freshman

Just want to add that Eason hit a home run in his last at bat as a baseball player.

My point about CMR was that he was so mentally checked out, he literally had no solution between Mason and Eason. That's a helluva lapse in judgement for a guy who makes $11k per day.

Is that based on emotion or fact?

This whole damn conversation is irrelevant. If Eason starts and sucks we'll see Lambert. If Lambert starts Eason will get a ton of reps.

I'm more concerned about Chubbs knee and our DL and LB's.
