Explain to me why Terry would be worthless. Two seasons and two different playbooks. Not like he's just had stone hands like Chigbu. We just haven't been getting the ball to him, he has a ton of talent.

You've got it all wrong.
We don't kick him off the team.
Better players take his spot this Spring.
He leaves the team for playing time and Kirby signs off on it, opening a roster spot.
It's just like an NFL team cutting/trading a guy who is an ok/good player to open up salary cap. At UGA, Kirby doesn't have that level of power, but the lower tier guys won't necessarily transfer out because of playing time, but the mid-tier and high-tier guys will.
It is specifically because Godwin has some potential that he will be someone ripe for processing.

Godwin has skills and has been a contributor. Don't get why we would want to get rid of him.

Godwin actually saw the field under the lights (or noon sun) this year. I'm sure we have others that haven't that would be more deserving.

With IMac gone, I will be looking to Godwin to step up and play a similar role. Hopefully he will be an integral part of our Offense next year.
