Now that the dust has seemingly cleared...what do you think he does? Assumes he starts every game.

I am thinking somewhere around 3,000 yards, 22 TDs, 7 INTs.

I said this previously before we knew the starter, but if we can get 8 interceptions or less, we should be in good shape. I feel better about that with Lambert starting over Ramsey.

Assuming he comes in against ULM and doesn't look back and is never unseated...

2,200-2,400 Yards
23-25 TD's
10 INT's

I'm going with this. I'd dare to say more yards but I bet the others get some PT. I do think he has one game that we all think "holy frick, this guy is god". Like his game against FSU. Then he has a game where the crowd boos and people desperately weep for Ramsey to start. Ramsey comes in next game and proceeds to stare down a CB that goes oppo for six.

EDIT: Actually, I am thinking 2400 yds, 20 TDs and 12 INTs

If any of these numbers are accurate we're going to have a great season.

I'm a little less optimistic but still think he will work into a solid QB (very grateful for our easy early schedule).

For the regular season I'll predict 2300 yards 20 TDs 12 INTs

Yeah, I just think with all the talent at RB there's no reason to be airing it out so his stats won't be great but I'm hoping they're just good enough to get us to the SECCG.

That'd be lovely. I'd be so happy if this guy just nails it vs ULM and we dont worry about QB until 2016. Just, like, I mean, it'd be so nifty if we had a transfer QB work.

I wanna be like "HEY, CAM NEWTON DIDN'T WIN THE COMPETITION EASILY AND WASN'T AS HYPED" but then I am like "oh, well, that was Cam Newton."

68% completion, 3200 yards, 31 tds. 390 rushing yards and 5 rushing tds. He leads Georgia to the promised land, SGD is butthurt beyond repair and deeprig talks Bauta into transferring to Louisville where he becomes the starting safety and records 23 ints.

I like this but one addition. SGD goes into a depressed downward spiral only to have his spirits lifted when the Bortsehiah leads the Jags to an improbable Super Bowl victory. SGD is given 2nd life and DGD ends up in a hospital for a month following the cumulative celebration

I feel like a lot of people would look at his stats at UVA and scoff and some of these predictions, but 80% of the time (hopefully more), he and Schotty will be able to pick when they want to throw versus having no other option.

With our running game and simple screens with iMac, Godwin, and Mitchell...I think Lambert's skills will be leveraged nicely.

FWIW, the last sentence would apply to Ramsey as well.

I hope Ramsey and Bauta get semi-meaningful snaps as well. Can't hurt against an easy schedule early on.

I'd like them to get work but I really rather Lambert get as many of the meaningful snaps as he can. If he has it then go all in and let him develop a rapport with the offense. I rather he be as seasoned as possible in this offense before South Carolina.

If we double digit passing TDs and single digit INTs our run game and defense can carry us to the East title.

I watched several UVA games last year and that doesn't lend me to have much faith in our QB roster of Lambert is the starter. Sure, he'll have a much better supporting cast, but what I saw was a QB with slightly above average arm talent who made poor decisions during crunch time. I firmly believe he's the best guy for the job since he was named the starter but, to me, that just means we really fricked up QB recruiting over the past 4-5 years and Ramsey/Bauta must be pretty subpar options.

Hopefully with some actually coaching at the QB position he'll prove me wrong and I'll look like a world class a-hole, but his UVA film inspires nothing but dread.

What if that double digit td total is 10 and the single digit int total is 9? Does that still count?

Yea, if I am being honest I am still not at all confident in the QB situation. And I still see 9-3 or maybe 8-4. But I have more hope for better things with Lambert than Ramsey. Just sucks that we have a pretty talented offense with no real option at the tiller.

Actually, yes. Positive stats give the entire team a lift. But i'm thinking more like 15/8.
