My friend Zak Rozsman just learned on Friday that his son, Carson, has an inoperable brain tumor called DIPG. Carson is 9, loves baseball, and is known as the "tough ox" of the family. Zak and I know each other through business, but have grown to be friends.
This cancer is a real bastard for children. It is nearly always fatal. They are currently at St. Jude's searching out for some kind of hope. Please pray for Zak, Sophia, Zak Jr. and, most of all, Carson. They need to be lifted up - they need a miracle to beat this one.
Update from Zak's best friend:
"They [Duke] did come up on Friday as a Recommendation, but Carson has Stage 4 and needed the radiation ASAP, so this is where we started. Still looking into Stanford, but I believe there are some things that get sorted before that is an option.
I just wanted to thank you for jumping in and helping to get the word out and your message is EXACTLY how we feel about all of this, he is a strong kid and never backs down from anything, he is going to need all the support he can get it.......frick DIPG"
