Pinkel is a class act,unlike Spurrier who can't have it his way,and totally bail's on his team,his coaches,and his fans.God-Speed Coach Pinkel,many Prayers coming Your Way.......

It's not that uncommon for people to initially downplay a diagnosis and plan to keep everything the same.

Then, once they've thought about it a lot more and have been through some of it, things start to become more clear. Especially if the initial feeling is that the disease is going to be cured and then follow-ups show that won't be the case. Priorities change.

I'm usually a pretty cynical person but I don't have much reason not to believe Pinkel in this case. I could be wrong but Id like to think he's above using cancer as an excuse for leaving.
