Yeah, only 700 yds of offense and held Mizzou to less than 60 yds rushing. What will we do?

Hard not to think of a taller Murray.

Fromm is two inches higher, has better footwork, is a better runner and he avoids inexplicable turnovers. Fromm is damn good.

I hear that Fields is also damn good. Holy shite, Dawg fans, we aren't in Kansas any more.

No pass rush because people were injured and didn't play no one even mentioned pre game

MIzz did a lot of max protect routes. We got caught a few times biting and not staying deep in zone. That was fixed in the 2nd half. There is nothing to see here. They hit a few long passes that were fantastic throws.

I don't get the criticism on here. We had some significant injuries, that should be back by UF. Lock is a decent passer, and if you take away 3 plays, they get one TD. We still beat the shite out of them, and put over 50 on an SEC opponent, and we have a bye week to get healthy and practice. Oh and we are 7-0 and will be no. 2 or 3 in ththe country today.

Murray was a really solid runner. I think he had Fromm beat in that department.

Agreed - we went from rotating 6-7 guys on the DLine to playing 3-4 this entire game.

I also think Lock just had some perfectly thrown deep balls - you have to give them credit for that. Once we hit him a couple of times his accuracy appeared to be off. Also thought Fromm's pick was a bad choice but the LB made a great play as well. Mizzou would be a decent team if their corners had a pulse and actually covered people.

Not surprisingly, somewhat reminiscent of the Alabama defense during Kirby's time there.

Lock will be the best QB we face all year, thank Jesus.

Stidham at Auburn will throw against us.

Yeah, Bama's D was prone to busted coverages and big plays. Playing a lot of man-to-man on the outside means you'll get beat every so often, but it also puts you in spots to come up with big plays. We gave up 312 yards to one of the most explosive offenses we'll see all year, and probably 120 of those yards came on busted plays. Do we need to play better if we're going to beat Auburn , Florida, Bama, etc? Hell yes, we do. Is the sky falling? No. I have faith in our coaching staff that we'll be fine moving forward.

Perfect wake up game against a gunslinger like Lock. He styled on them in the first few series but they adjusted and

settled down. There isn't another QB that can test the secondary except perhaps Bentley. It would nice to face another good passing offense before the regular season ends.

Bentley has been very, very pedestrian this year. He can hit big plays, but he's been pretty erratic on his throws this season. Stidham is probably the biggest threat we face the rest of the season.

How many plays are they making in the backfield. They are all thankful they have Roquan to clean up. As I said, they are occupying lockers but they aren't dominant players by any stretch.

In many defenses the object is for the DL to dominate the OL and allow the LBs the freedom to rush the passer or block the run lanes. Our inside linemen often have 2 OL blocking one man, and sometimes 2 of ours take on 4 of theirs. How else do you have LBs free to rush or plug run holes?
I seldom see our DL not doing a good job. Same for our OL. Often I see our Olinemen taking on 2 DL. Pittman deserves a big raise for this. Same for Sherrer and Scott.
Study the line play of this year and see how good these guys really are.
