Dallas, what kind of crossbow do you use to keep the deer out of that magnificent food plot?

We're on 200 acres of farmland surrounded by suburbia 30 miles due W. of downtown Atlanta & used to be eat up with deer...

10-12 years ago we couldn't grow okra or beans cause of the deer & rabbits. Unfortunately the explosion in the coyote population in the last 8-10 years have solved that problem, haven't seen a deer in prolly 3 years & rarely see a rabbit anymore...

I can go outside just about any clear night in the spring & hear coyotes yelping & howling N,S,E & W of me...

It sucks cause I'm ready to put chickens in my new pen next week & know they're gonna be a pain in the arse, I'm trying to find 6-8 old broiler chickens to put in 1st as sacrificial lambs so I can coyote proof my pen before I fork out good money for 25 week old layers ...

Will shoot you a note in the a.m... They would be $6/8oz jar + shipping. I haven't shipped any so I have no idea how much that would be... Might be cheaper to drive out to Douglasville to the market...

You should get a hound dog, but not one smart enough to get into the chickens on his own. You need a dumb hound dog.

Ha maybe so. I'm not sure when I'll ever be out that way again so depending on shipping I might just go that route...IF that's something you would be willing to do.

What does all of this taste like together? That's a pretty potent list......

Sweetness from the blueberries and brown sugar, tartness from the red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar, smokiness from the chipotle's, heat from the habanero's, a fuller body from the Guinness, plus a more complex flavor from the hints of garlic, onion, coffee, coriander & cumin.

so I can coyote proof my pen

Find someone with a barber shop and collect the hair. Spread it around the pen fence. Also get a pair of donkeys. They will guard the area ferociously and will attack and fight coyotes.

Any interest in co-pack and marketing this on a larger scale?

I've still gotta check on shipping charges from the UPS Store... I'm afraid it's gonna cost $10 bucks or more to ship a $6 bottle...

What's your zipcode? I'll find out the cost tomorrow...
