Bhut Peach Hot Sauce...
I have only grown habeneros and jalapeños for a while now but I'm growing some Bhuts this year. Hoping to end up playing around with some hot sauce for personal use (I don't grow enough to make a ton) but am a complete novice at it. I put the peppers in damn near everything though.

what all kinds of hot sauces do you have dallas? I'd be interested in purchasing some.

Bhut
Those things are dangerous. My brother in law grew some several years back and my buddy and I decided to play a joke on his little brother. Bet him $5 he couldn't eat this pepper that was " just a tad hotter than a jalapeño" he chomped that fricker in half. I honestly thought he was gonna die.

Not a lot of hot sauces left from last year...
I've got a "5 pepper hot sauce", which is basically my hot version of a "Franks" etc... It's made with Bhut, Habanero, Dragon Cayenne, Jalapeno & Hot Banana in Apple Cider vinegar seasoned with Garlic & Sea salt... Basic solid red sauce(hotter than most red sauces on the market)...
Also have a "clear" pickled pepper sauce (think the clear liquid in the bottles of pickled peppers) made with one Bhut, carrots, garlic, dill & sea salt in each 8 oz. jar... zesty dill taste & very hot, my favorite for beans etc...
Got a few miscellaneous jars of pickled Habs & Hot Banana with dill/carrots & garlic....
Ghost Peach, Hab Peach, Tropical Red (pineapple, mango, red Habs) & Maker's Bourbon & Roasted Garlic Hab sauce are in the works...
Also my niece & mom collaborate to make a ton of jams, jellies, essential oils, homemade fudges etc...
I'm basically retired so I'm working with my niece to help her in her efforts to start a Cottage business so she can support & supply her family ( & the extended family) & the local community with healthy, home grown & homemade alternatives to whats out there in the market...

Not now... My niece/mom makes a great squash relish, either sweet or hot. Well make a batch of chow-chow when we get some extra green tomatoes later in the season. Imma trying to grow tomatillos to use in chow-chow too...

Man I bet that would be awesome over a bacon wrapped filet!

yea I love being able to just step out back and grab some fresh peppers to throw in some eggs, burgers, chili, you name it.
You've got a nice variety going, I don't have enough room for all of that unfortunately so I just have to focus on a few.
A friend told me to look into the Carolina Reaper but it's too late this year to start something like that. I've had a sauce with Trinidad Scorpion and Bhuts and that was awesome. Hot but awesome.
Let me know when you get the peach sauces cranking and I'll be glad to take some off your hands.

I don't have a huge garden... I grow my Superhots in 5gal buckets. I put Habs, Jalapenos, Bananas & Cayennes in the ground. Everything else is container grown (truthfully the super hots are finicky as shite & containers are better for them)...
My garden last year left to right on May 30th, row of cukes on the fence, row & half of squash, 1/2 row of zucchini, 2 rows of bush beans, 4 rows of tomatoes & 2 rows of peppers, 3 rows of okra against the wood line, doesn't make till late...
No pics of 5gal buckets of young super hots or raised beds of early season peas/broccoli/cauliflower/cabbage..
It's all about this...

Delicious. Never bought it from store though. It's actually been a long time since I've had any. Kind of a nostalgia thing now. Like the tgif dinosaurs on Netflix

I have no clue what you're talking about.

Contact Whole Foods and other markets like that. A friend in Cali makes natural soaps and shampoos and got into Whole Foods. They leased her a small end cap in one store for a reasonable rate and within a year she had six feet of shelf space in ten stores. They want her in all the Cali stores now.

Nice setup. I may have to try out the buckets for peppers. It's all a work in progress for me
