So I live in a cul de sac in the back of a pretty upscale neighborhood, well I'm minding my own business in my garage listen to George Jones drinking jack and coke when I hear a 4 wheeler cming up the hill. I look out the garage to see what's goin on and this fricker rides down the side of my house through my very expensive well maintained Bermuda proceeds to through the wood to the house ( not in neighborhood and they are prety rough white trash) behind mine.

I get pissed but by the time I reacted he was gone. Well sure as shite 3 min later he comes ripping through my yard again heading out tue way he came. I yelled but to no avail. I've been sitting in my driveway for past 20 min waiting on this fricker to come back through but not aure if uts gonna happen again tonight.

So ky question is wtf would you do? Like I said before they are rough trashy frickers who have no regards for others ( there pitbull was on my deck when I this afternoon and I had to chase him off with a mop handle to get him the frick out) I see no "reasoning" with these people as far as hey would you mind walking you dog on a leash and quit frickin up my yard! Please Mr neighbor oh please! Yea that ain't gonna work.

So whay should my next step be? Not a fan of getting cops involved but I will if I have to.

You should video the next incident in your yard. As for the dog, shoot it and dump it on their front porch. U had to do that with a dog some white trash let run loose and it actually attacked one of my horses. I told them to keep their dog in their yard. They laughed at me and shut the door in my face.
They moved shortly after finding the dog on their porch.

I've havent got ky.pistol off my night stand yet cause in drinking and have a bit of a temper when it comes.to.someone being disrespectful to me or ky property. I am thinking about putting a stand or two of barb wire around the back side of my property and putting no trespassing signs on the back side, but I wonder what I could be held liable for if/when the dumbass decapitated himself. I'm all for working it out civil but I don't feel these people are.

A shotgun should solve your problem.

If they touch your property again, blow his head off.

Would anyone on the planet actually notice if the whole family suddenly ceased to engage in their normal, daily activities? No? Good. Enlist Mr. Mossberg.

Don't break the law, that's too simplistic, there are many creative options you can employ within the realm of the law. Although it will cost you a little money and time.

A rash decision to brandish or use a weapon will result in jail time for you.

Review the laws for your county. I think you need to call the sherrif's office anonymously and ask 3 questions.

1. What is the law about trespassing on property for the county, how do you make it known you don't want tresspassers?

2. What is the law about agressive animals on your personal property? I'm pretty sure it's easy to say a dog is a threat and not have to have any proof though.

3. What are the county restrictions on fencing of personal property, or within your neighborhood?

Here's my thought, but make sure it's all legal for your area.

If the quad bandit is going through the same trail through your yard and into the woods, find the spot he's entering your woods and put up razor wire (about 4 feet high).

If it's not legal to have razor wire up, it would also probably be illegal to buy used rusty barb wire and put it slightly further up his trail but off your property, so that there was nothing physical to tie its presence to you. rusty wire online.

If it's legal to shoot a threatening animal on your property, choot 'em. Don't leave the dog on their doorstep, b/c that's a great way to get shot. Dispose of it humanely. OR, collar the dog and take it to the pound. Most places have rules about "aggressive" dogs running rampant. Owners are generally fined or have to pay money to get it out.

If quad bandit is taking the same path through your yard into the woods, then also put up and outward facing "No Tresspassing" sign. Depending on your county, that may give you the right to brandish the next time you see him, and then you might actually be able to help nature take it's coarse from there.

However, are you sure you can't just go talk to them and say, "your dog has been coming to my porch and your quad is riding through my yard, stop it or we have a problem." ?

Get a 2x4, 5 pieces of sod and 15 heavy duty nails. Drive nails into 2x4 about every 4 inches. Camouflage said nail filled board with sod. Place in track. Repeat as often as necessary. They will grow weary of replacing tires every week.

If there is a pitbull roaming around your house I would complain to animal control or file a police report immediately. Depending on where you live pitbulls can be classified as "potentially dangerous" or are not allowed without county registration. Also, the owner would be liable for any damages that their dog may have done to your property.

Yea, you could do all that, or you can realize you are an American and are granted basic rights by being a citizen of this country.

Take the shot gun and fire a warning shot. If the idiot doesn't comply, blow his fricking head off.

Take the tires out on the wheeler.. if they won't stop or offer you a beer. They will then flip or take out a few pines and it's your right as a Georgian in your own yard to do so. They will learn quickly (especially if they are young). Good life leasons from an adult in the South. RESPECT!

Well I think if you have kids or grandkids that may come to your house then it is simple shoot the dog first and foremost for safety reasons. If it truely is a pitbull be accurate.

As far as the riders, simply walk out there with a gun visibly "ON YOUR HIP" not in your hand and politely ask them to detour that mud wagon around your neighborhood. If you want, you can elaborate how it's disturbing your peace and damaging your yard, but I think simplicity is much better and they will get the hint when they see the gun.

If that doesn't work raise the stakes and make it the path of MOST resistance.

The more I think of it the more pissed I get. I will be getting no trespassing signs on the way home. My family owns a cattle farm down the road so barb wire wont be an issue to.come up with if it has to go that far.

I do believe in most places that if you set a trap on your property and it does damage or bodily harm you can and will be held responsible. The best thing would be to take pictures , call police and let them do there job. that will keep you out of the cell with Big BUBA.
