Put your finger on the pulse of the Charleston Craigs List.
Plenty of Sea Pro's. now is not buying season though.
Well its buying season but not buying season, iykwim.
SC doesnt title trailers so get good docs and bill of sale for just the trailer, separate from the boat. Easier dealing with GA dmv.
Pro tip... Cheaper the trailer on the bill of sale, cheaper your tag fee.

If you are in the market for a glitter boat, you know exactly where to go for that info... Where spots are largemouth.

My last truck was a 05 Ram 2500. By far my favorite truck I've ever owned. Cost of ownership is by far a lot higher than a gas burner. I average 20 mpg around town which was awesome but everything else about them is very pricey. I sold it and went back to a 1500. I've got my eyes open for a new Laramie or LTZ within the next year though. I won't but then new body style Chevy though. They are butt ugly Imo
Yea, I keep hearing that the MPG savings with the diesel just aren't worth it including other costs. I wanted to test the 1500 Eco Diesel and the old man's company has a deal with Ram but in the end I am a recent college grad and buying a new car is flat out stupid with my current salary. Really just in general. And I wanna see how that Fiat diesel works.
And I love my truck now. It's just great. It just sucks down gas. All my friends are jettisoning their trucks for cars and I wanna hold on to mine and I am considering get my motorcycle license and taking the old mans old bike so I can keep both but we will see.
And I agree about the new GM vehicles. Never been a fan of them to begin with. That said they say that GM will offer a Canyon diesel and yea, it's a midget truck, but that tiny thing with a diesel may be an efficient little monster.

Spunky, fyi maybe you are thinking of sea pro's v-hull models, I'm talking about their "bay boats".

Tell me more about this. Educate me.

I know very little other than they are thinking about throwing a small diesel into the Canyon/Colorado
Best link I have found
May be a good option for someone not trying to break the bank on operating a truck but still having a truck. Wouldn't mind seeing how they work out and maybe buy a used one in a few years.
I am a huge fan of diesel vehicles and love my buddy's jetta that gets around 44-50 mpg. Problem is I just don't like driving small cars. I had one for a little bit and I just felt like a douche and it just didn't fit me. I also used to be a lard arse but even now I just love driving a bigger vehicle. But love =/= economics.

Thanks for the link. It will officially be an option for model year 2016 (available in about a year) per your link, which cites officials at the company.
This is what I've been waiting for...
A pickup truck with diesel engine that isn't a mini-Mack truck and wasn't manufactured in the 1980's.
They should rename it the Deeprig9 Special and have a built-in beagle crate option in the bed.

Hey, I want my own deeprig9 special. Couldn't agree more. I love the F 150 but I don't need a truck that powerful. This thing would have enough torque to tow what you needed but would be more than efficient enough to justify driving a truck. Hate that they went away from these designs the past 2 decades.
Basically I couldn't agree with your post more. Ford should bring back the Ranger and make it a mini diesel instead of pushing the damn eco boost which I have driven and seen. It is punchier and torquier but it isn't much more efficient at all.

Buying a new car is flat out stupid period unless you like spending a few thousand extra for that new car smell. Find something with a few thousand miles on it already and use the money you save to buy one of those Bay Boats to go with it.

I drive a newer Ford Focus 4 door hatchback - love it. Great on gas, American made, and I can haul quite a bit of stuff around, including my canoe on top. Got it new from Akins in Winder - they have some GREAT deals from time to time on their Focus's.
Is it a chick car? Yep.
Do I give a shite? Nope.
I owned nothing but compact trucks up to this point, I miss having a bed but not the fuel bill.

PNW firstly I didn't know you were a 'chic and I think you should follow the progressive scooter trend in transportation. That and you can't afford gasoline.

I'm well aware of the difference. I just don't understand why you think a bay boat is a bass boat on lanier? Yes it gets rough on the weekends during the summer which is why I said I want a 19+
I would prefer a 21 but don't really want to shell out that kind of cash.
