Would be an absolute steal @ 17....
No doubt, at what point in the draft do you take a chance on Jaylon Smith? Some mocks have him undrafted..

I was hoping my Giants would draft him at #10, but sources are saying were are taking a tackle.

My first NFL game was a Giants game vs the Bucs, my father is a Giants fan, Lawrence Taylor signed my jersey and gave me a high five (no pun intended) when I was a kid. Best day of my life.

Hey there buddy. Gonna acknowledge that you were a giant douche towards anyone thinking Floyd would be a high draft pick? He was taken ninth. In case you struggle with simple math, which I'm guessing is entirely possible given your post history, is 11 picks before that magic 20 threshold you politely promised BeefDawg and myself that he wouldn't cross.

Third round and cross your fingers. He was the highest rated player overall in this draft. If it doesn't pan out, oh well, you took a shot at greatness and it didn't work. If he comes back 100%, you have a 10 year all-pro.

Jesus dude,I ALSO acknowledged in the same post I could be entirely wrong but since you apparently have a huge vagina you didn't read that part.

Good luck to em and wish em all the best.He was obviously well prepared for combine.

Just makes no sense why one would think Floyd wasn't first rd material.

Never made the comment and I'm ecstatic for the kid, *but* I still think trading up to 9th was a mistake. Seems that he was likely going in the 10th to the Giants if not, and for them I think he makes a bit more sense. Chicago likely going to find that it's difficult to get top 10 value out of him. I hope I'm wrong, but the sporadic nature of his production leads me to believe his NFL value may be minimized to 3rd down specialist unless they can get more weight on him *or* really coach him up something fierce, including motivation. Maybe $$$ will motivate him just plenty, but only time will tell I suppose.

Either way, regardless of my thoughts on him as a player, I'm happy that he is getting a shot and to a team that needs pass rush something fierce in their division, so he's going to get every opportunity to prove he's worth it.
